Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some of the most commonly asked questions our bridal clients have.

The sooner, the better. We recommend starting bridal alterations at least 2-3 months prior to your wedding day. Having more time ensures that we will be able to complete your wedding dress alterations on time and within budget, especially during busy wedding season.
This entirely depends on the alterations that are needed to make your dress a perfect fit. We recommend booking an appointment as soon as possible so our bridal seamstress can evaluate your dress and provide an evaluation on alterations needed and time to completion.
You should bring the shoes you plan on wearing on your wedding day. If you don’t have them yet, a shoe with the desired heal height can be substituted. If you plan on wearing spandex, a special bra or other special undergarments, bring these items as well. Also, if you have your veil and jewelry those are also helpful to have so you can see how alterations may affect the appearance of the finished look.
We recommend no more than 2 people accompany you at your fitting. At the final fitting, the person who will be in charge of bustling your wedding dress should be present.
The cost of bridal alterations largely depends on the difficulty, number of alterations needed and the amount of time available before your wedding date. In order to receive a custom quote, book an appointment with our bridal seamstress who will evaluate your unique alteration requirements.
Consultations and fittings are booked by appointment only. We can accommodate evening and weekend appointments when requested.
